I was SO pleased to get the January Fairyloot box. The theme for the month was ‘Mystery & Mischief ‘. I suspected that I might know the book included and, quite honestly, I couldn’t wait to read it. So armed with my Christmas money I got in there quick to get my hands on a box.
It arrived last week and actually was even better than I could’ve possibly imagined! As always, the actual unboxing is in a spoiler section below, so if you don’t want to see what was inside LOOK AWAY NOW!View Spoiler » First out the box was this Funko Mystery Mini. I got the Game of Thrones theme which I LOVED but Harry Potter was also randomly distributed through the boxes too. I always tell my husband I could totally be a detective, now I can hone my skills with the How To Think Like Sherlock book in this month’s box! It looks fun, and I can’t wait to read it! I love Read At Midnight‘s work. The mug we got in the November box is a favourite. So I was rather excited to see her exclusive Alice in Wonderland bookmark in the box! This exclusive cushion cover from Risa Rodil is stunning. It’s fantastic quality and, although I haven’t yet read The Night Circus (it’s on my shelves), I really like this quote too. It’s huge too, so I just need to find a cushion to fit it! The final two items are inspired by the book this month so let’s look at the book first eh? Yup, it’s CARAVAL!!! Complete with a note from Stephanie Garber, a signed bookplate and swag! Plus, we were lucky enough to get this book before publication. This is exactly the title that I hoped would be in the January box! What’s more… … every UK hardback has a secret image on the front cover! So, if you’re buying Caraval in your local bookshop, make sure you check under the jacket! So, onto the final two items. We received an exclusive Meraki Candle *happy dance* I haven’t burned it yet but the notes are cocoa, berries and musk. Finally, Oh Panda Eyes handmade exclusive rose necklaces just for the box. My poor photography skills don’t do this justice – it’s beautiful! Oh and, as ever, Fairyloot included a few wee bonus items for us. I’m genuinely thrilled with this box! I actually couldn’t believe how much was in it! « Hide Spoiler
Fairyloot has, once again, made me very happy!
